It's no secret that our Rams are prone to catastrophic front driveshaft failures.
 
These failures typically occur at the double cardan joint on the upper end of the shaft, next to the transfer case.
 
After the driveshaft or transfer case breaks free, the loose driveshaft is likely to come through the cab floor, and/or rupture nearby fuel/brake/transmission lines, causing fire in some cases.
 
This driveshaft loop will not prevent driveshaft failures but will protect from secondary damage in the event of a failure.
 
It is still recommended to grease and inspect your driveshaft frequently.
 
This kit features laser cut, powder coated 1/4" plate steel construction, and includes all necessary high-tensile hardware.
